Booking & Reservation Policy

General Booking Policy

  • All divers must complete the Dive Registration Form and Dive Declaration Form before any diving activity, or at least two (2) days prior to arrival in Fuvahmulah.
  • By confirming a reservation, you confirm you are authorized to act for all persons in the booking and that all participants agree to these terms.
  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm; the balance is due at check-in or before departure.
  • Confirmations/quotations are sent via email, WhatsApp, WeChat, or Line. Please check details and notify us of any corrections immediately.
  • Guests are responsible for confirming domestic flight schedules and accommodation bookings before travel.
  • WhatsApp is the preferred communication method during your stay.

Reservation Process

  • Request a quotation and confirm your booking details.
  • Provide domestic flight and accommodation information.
  • Submit the 50% advance payment.
  • Receive domestic flight e-tickets ~2 weeks prior to travel.

Accommodation Policy

  • Rates vary by package — some are priced per person, others based on double occupancy.
  • Please refer to the specific room or package description for occupancy and pricing details.
  • Advance payment is required before hotel confirmations are issued.
  • Cancellations within seven (7) days of arrival are non-refundable.

Domestic Flight Reservations

Flight Booking Policy

  • Passport copy required for each passenger for domestic bookings.
  • Provide international flight details or connecting ferry information for proper connections.
  • Fares: Adult (one-way) USD 150 · Child (one-way) USD 125 · Infant free of charge.
  • Baggage: 25 kg checked + 5 kg hand luggage; excess at USD 4.30 per kg.
  • Approx. flight time 80 minutes. Check-in opens 2.5h before and closes 60m prior to departure.

Flight Rescheduling & Cancellation

  • Airline changes/cancellations are outside our control; we will assist with rescheduling to the next available flight at no extra charge.
  • Cancellation fee: USD 50 per person, or free rebooking within 72 hours of original departure.
  • Unused tickets are non-refundable.

RTL Ferry Reservations

  • Schedules may change due to weather/maintenance. Check updates at www.rtl.mv.
  • One-way fare Feydhoo (Addu) ↔ Fuvahmulah: USD 20 per person.
  • Arrive at the jetty at least 30 minutes before departure.
  • Not liable for delays/cancellations; assistance provided to rebook where possible.

Prices, Taxes & Service Charges

All quoted prices include applicable government taxes and service charges unless otherwise stated.

Payment Conditions

  • Deposit: 50% due at the time of reservation.
  • Balance: payable during check-in or before departure.
  • Payment hours: 09:00–12:00 and 14:00–16:00.
  • Card transaction fees: 3.5%–4.0% per transaction.
  • Bank transfer fees: free up to USD 500; USD 15 for amounts over USD 500.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • 30 days or more before arrival: full refund.
  • Between 30 and 14 days before arrival: 50% refund.
  • Less than 14 days before arrival: no refund.
  • Less than 7 days before arrival: non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Unused dives or missed activities are non-refundable.
  • If dives are cancelled due to weather/mechanical issues, only the diving component will be refunded.
  • Morning dives are non-transferable; may be exchanged for afternoon dives (subject to availability).

Diving Insurance

  • All divers must hold valid dive insurance before diving.
  • Insurance is not included in package prices.
  • DAN short-term insurance (1–30 days) available through the dive center; arrange at least one day before diving.

Flying After Diving (DAN Guidelines)

  • Single no-decompression dive: wait 12 hours before flying.
  • Multiple dives/day or multiple days: wait 18 hours before flying.
  • Decompression dives: wait 24 hours before flying.

Scuba Diving Rules

  • Valid certification required.
  • Minimum qualification: Advanced Open Water Diver or Deep Dive Specialty.
  • Dive insurance is mandatory.
  • Maximum depth: 30 meters (100 feet).
  • Maximum dive duration: 45 minutes.
  • Dive sites chosen based on weather, sea conditions, and diver experience.
  • All activities subject to safe conditions and minimum participant numbers.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

  • Not liable for injury, illness, death, loss, or damage arising from diving, equipment use, or adverse weather.
  • Not liable for delays, cancellations, or rescheduling of flights, ferries, or transfers.
  • Compensation will not exceed the total amount paid for the affected booking.
  • We may change dive sites, reschedule, or cancel dives for safety or due to conditions.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delay, modification, or cancellation caused by events beyond our control, including bad weather, equipment failure, government action, natural disasters, or transport disruptions.

Conduct & Termination

We reserve the right to terminate any booking or service immediately if a guest’s behavior is inappropriate, unsafe, or violates these terms.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes shall be resolved under Maldivian jurisdiction.

General Guidelines

  • Guests are advised to hold comprehensive travel, medical, and dive insurance.
  • All visitors must comply with Maldivian laws and customs.
  • Modest attire is required on local islands; shoulders and knees should be covered in public or religious areas.
